TwinClad XT instead of bare brass

Does the nozzle fit a regular MK10 hotend, such as the factory-installed one in my printer?

No. According to Micro Swiss, it fits only the manufacturer’s MK10 All Metal Hotend because its internal dimensions are designed for that hotend’s Thermal Barrier tube. It is not intended for a standard MK10 hotend.

Is it suitable for abrasive filaments such as Carbon Fiber PLA?

That is precisely what the TwinClad XT coating is designed for, according to the manufacturer: it should extend service life with carbon-, aluminate- and metal-filled filaments compared with uncoated brass.

Do I need to adjust my slicer settings?

When switching from another 0.4 mm nozzle, the diameter remains identical, so the usual 0.4 mm profiles will continue to work. Nevertheless, you should check the temperature and flow after the change with a test print.
